Mumps

Mumps germ
spreads through coughing, sneezing, or
   just talking to an infected person

Once infected
takes 14-18 days to get sick

Symptoms
swollen cheeks or swollen jaw
fever
headaches

Complications
brain damage
painful swelling of the testicles
  in teenage and adult men that can
  cause sterility
deafness

Mumps is easy to prevent with vaccine. All children and some adults need to be vaccinated.
