FOUR-MONTH
CHECKUP
Stools
- Babies can
stool from once every 4-5 days to 10-12 times a day and
this is normal.
- All babies
grunt, push, turn red, and flex to get stool out.
- Constipation
is defined by the consistency of the stool, not the frequency.
If the stool is hard like a rock, it’s constipation. If
the stool is soft, it’s not constipation regardless of
the number of stools a day or the amount of pushing and
grunting.
