At six months of age, babies are generally happy, fun and easy to care for. This time is called the "golden age" of infancy because children are generally sleeping through the night, happy and playful, but not yet mobile so they will stay in one area. Issues to be discussed at the six-month checkup include vaccinations, feedings, growth and development, safety, vitamins and fluoride. A physical exam should be performed and any parental questions should be answered. |
