Gross Motor:

walks up and down stairs without help;
jumps with feet not leaving floor;
kicks ball;
throws overhand;
runs well.

Visual and Fine Motor:

turns pages one at a time;
removes clothing;
imitates vertical strokes on paper;
partially puts on clothing;
uses spoon well, fork poorly.

Language:

uses pronouns (I, you, me) incorrectly;
understands 2-step commands, i.e., pick up paper and put it on the table;
understands "another;"
refers to self by name;
people understand 50% of child's language.

Social:

parallel play, playing next to instead of with other children;
asserts independent, i.e., "terrible twos;"
tolerates separation from parent;
replaces objects where they belong.
